What's On in the Hawkesbury

This weekend sees the return of Singing on Deerubbin Shores. A a two-day singing workshop designed to bring Darug language songs to the Hawkesbury region and is open to everyone ages 8 and above. Held in Richmond, participants will be invited to learn songs in both Darug language and English and to sing them together in harmony. “Deerubbin” is the local Darug word for the Hawkesbury River.  One or two day workshop tickets are available online.

Saturday morning visit the Richmond Good Food Market located in the beautiful historic Richmond Park. A favourite with the locals this market showcases some of the best fresh produce and gourmet food. 8am-1pm. Then take a drive up to Bilpin Markets for local produce, food and crafts. 10am-1pm. On Sunday visit Windsor Mall markets open from 9am-3pm.
