On Saturday discover the wonderful stories that historic Belmont House at North Richmond has to tell and take part in their historic tour. This splendid heritage building was built by Philip Charley in 1892, and Belmont house is truly a grand mansion. Take the opportunity to enjoy the history. Funds raised from the tours help with maintenance of the building and continuing the story of Belmont House. Tickets must be pre-purchased.

The Hawkesbury Showground on Sunday will host ‘Dogs in the Park’. Locals can participate in all activities such as dog demonstrations and dog competitions. Proposed activities for the event include best-dressed pet competitions, dog races and dog trick contests.  There will be market stalls, dog suppliers, free dog show bags and grooming shoot out demonstrations.  Also there will be competitions for cutest puppy, cutest dog and fancy dress.  DOGS NSW will be there along with dog rescues as well. This is a free local community dog event.

On Saturday and Sunday be one of the first to get your delicious seasonal citrus fruit at Watkins Orchard as this weekend their fruit picking season commences. A lovely opportunity to enjoy a family day out in the Hawkesbury.  Watkins Orchard is open 10am-4pm.
