Looking for something that's fun for everyone?  Why not experience the rural charm of the Hawkesbury and enjoy the simple pleasure of picking your own fruit. Bring the whole family along as the orchards start opening for seasonal fruit picking. Pinecrest Orchard is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9am-4pm , The Bilpin Fruit Bowl is open Saturday and Sunday 10am-4pm and Bilpin Springs Orchard is open Saturday and Sunday 7am-1pm. Fees apply to pick fruit.

Bilpin has so much to offer with farm gate sales of tantalisingly fresh fruit and vegetables but why not stop at one of the cider cellar doors to enjoy the delights of cider tasting - both alcoholic and non alcoholic ciders are available to taste & to purchase. Hillbilly Cider is open Friday 12-5pm, Saturday & Sunday 11am-5pm and Bilpin Cider opens Monday to Sunday 10am-4pm. Picnics on the Farm available every Saturday & Sunday 10am until 4pm at Bilpin Cider: a selection of delicious picnic hampers are available for purchase on the weekends.

Keeping cool & family entertainment: Richmond Pool Party: Saturday 16th 11am-3pm Free entry, waterslide, free sausage sizzle and free giveaways for the kids. 65 East Market Street, Richmond.

Sunday 17th sees the Super Swap Meet back at the Hawkesbury Showground, Racecourse Road, Clarendon from 6am. You will see car parts to collectables, veteran & vintage vehicles, hot rods, street machines, motorbikes & even tractors. It's a great family day out. Entry fee for lookers $5.
