What's On in the Hawkesbury

This weekend there is a fabulous two day Christmas Market happening in Windsor's George Street Mall.  This special event only happens once a year and you'll get plenty of ideas for Christmas gifts.  Avoid the rush of the big shopping centres and get out in the fresh air at this unique market in the heart of historic Windsor.

Enjoy a 2.5 hour lunch cruise Sunday aboard the Hawkesbury Paddlewheeler with live music from Dave Bleus. Cruises now departing from Lower Portland on the Hawkesbury River. Bookings essential online.

Eat Art - Exhibition

Exhibition runs 5 December 2020 - 31 January 2021 Saturday 26 December 2020 Free

Event details

Eat Art explores a universal aspect of human existence – food and its influence on our daily lives and imaginations. What and how we eat can reflect contemporary life, just as ‘national’ eating habits can represent cultures. The depiction and re-creation of food in art means it reaches beyond its biological necessity. In Eat Art the symbolic dimensions are revealed, stimulating not just an appetite for eating, but for ideas, for creativity and the potential for creating change towards a more thoughtful and delicious future.

Eat Art featured artists include Marian Abboud, Cath Barcan, Mechelle Bounpraseuth, Lucy Culliton, Phil Ferguson, Chrissy Flanagan, Kenny Pittock, Ben Tankard, Dawn Tan.
