Richmond Players presents Midnight Murder at Hamlington Hall
Saturday 2 August 2025
Tickets $30-$35 per person
Event details
About the show
Imagine the scene – a community hall, the home of many community groups including the Middling Cove Players, an amateur dramatic society which has been operating for many years. Sound familiar?
Tonight is the opening night of their new play Midnight Murder at Hamlington Hall. Tonight’s performance needs to be especially good, as the local Council’s representative will be in the audience as a decision on renewing their tenure in the venue is imminent. Sound familiar?
Things get very concerning when player after player rings in having tested positive for an infectious disease. Still sound familiar?
The remaining actors, the director and the stage manager prove that the show must go on! This play – a play within a play – was written for, and first produced, as part of the 2023/2024 season at the Ensemble Theatre in Sydney.
Directed by Carol Wimmer
