Light Up Windsor Street Fair
After last year’s amazing event, The Light Up Windsor Festival is set to be even bigger and more festive... It’s going further than ever before down George Street, thanks to an Open Streets Program grant from the NSW Government.
Light Up Windsor 2024 will be held on Saturday 30 November from 5pm to 9pm.
Light Up Windsor is the perfect way for families from Hawkesbury and beyond to come and enjoy local hospitality and retail while celebrating a magical time of the year at a fun, exciting and interactive Christmas event. The huge event program, which for the first time will include the activation of illuminated Christmas installations, festive chalk art and Christmas murals all the way along George Street.
The highlight of the night is the Christmas tree lighting which will take place at 9pm. The event will be on George Street (top end of Windsor) and through the Windsor Mall.
The festival will include markets, live entertainment, amazing Christmas lights display, roving characters, Christmas workshops and so much more. Use the event schedule to plan your night of fun and make sure you don't miss any of the action.
The event celebrates the beginning of the Christmas season, so what better opportunity to shop local and check off some of your Christmas shopping list while you are in the festive atmosphere. In addition to all the 40+ market stallholders, many of the local businesses in and around Windsor Mall will be staying open late for Light Up Windsor.
The Light Up Windsor Street Fair has been held annually (since 2018) is a celebration to bring the Hawkesbury community together for the Christmas season. Information of how to get to the event can be found here.

There will be a change in traffic conditions on Saturday 30 November 2024 from midday to midnight for the event. At the top end of Windsor - George Street, a section of Baker Street, and a section of The Terrace will be closed for the event. Kable Street and sections of Bridge, Macquarie Streets will be pedestrian access only.
