This program invites children to stop, listen, and expand their imaginations in nature.
Experienced guides will get the children looking down and around at the tiny, magical worlds hidden deep with the Garden. What can they see? Maybe we will see mushrooms that look like fairy homes, little bugs in the leaf litter, shapes and patterns in the soil. What can they imagine? Let's imagine together!
After exploring together, we will be crafting a tiny sculpture from earthenware clay and collected nature treasures. These miniature sculptures are designed to be taken and hidden in some secret place in nature. A special secret only you know about - which you can go back and visit again and again!

This beautiful, nature-based workshop will held in our outdoor classroom on our permaculture farm.
Make goats milk and medicinal flower soap from scratch
Create sparkling edible flower lollipops
Brew refreshing edible flower lemonade
Craft your own edible flower seed bombs to take home
Cuddle and feed our friendly farm animals - goats, ducks, chickens and quails!
Along the way, we'll explore the hidden healing powers of medicinal flowers like calendula and chamomile, and taste the beauty of edible blooms like violas, nasturtiums, and borage.
Every child takes home a bundle of handmade goodies and a new appreciation for the secret life of flowers.

Mix their own sourdough dough to take home and bake
Score and bake a fresh sourdough loaf together in the bush kitchen
Slice citrus and make seasonal marmalade from scratch
Visit and cuddle the friendly goats, chickens, ducks, and quails
Toast sourdough over the fire and enjoy it smothered in marmalade
Finish with toasted marshmallows and hot chocolate by the fire 
Every child takes home a jar of handmade marmalade and sourdough dough to bake and share with their family.

In the summer of 2019-2020 communities across the entire continent of Australia experienced some of the worst bushfires in recent living memory. Known as the Black Summer Bushfires, the impact of these collective fire events’ was catastrophic on individuals and communities a like.
Burnt into Memory will explore the complex impact of these events on individuals and communities within the context of reflection, healing, resilience and forward momentum.
