Yandell Walto| Mar Serinyà Gou

Entangled Grounds brings together new works by Yandell Walton and Mar Serinyà Gou, developed during residencies at BigCi on the edge of the Wollemi National Park and presented in partnership with Hawkesbury Regional Gallery.

The exhibition explores how artists can work with the land as an active collaborator rather than a subject. Yandell Walton’s Becoming With uses digitally generated environments shaped by environmental forces and nonhuman agency, while Mar Serinyà Gou’s Back to the Beginning responds to place through elemental, land-based actions and performances.
