Celebrate Australia Day on the Hawkesbury in 2026 with a day of community, reflection and fun beside the Hawkesbury River.

Monday 26th January 5-9pm at the iconic Governor Phillip Park Windsor is where the fun, excitement and action will be happening. Guest MC Farmer Dave will be back on the mic again this year.

This family friendly event will be the perfect way to enjoy the special day alongside our beautiful river. Admission is free.

There will be plenty to keep everyone happy as Australia Day on the Hawkesbury 2026 will feature the Ultimate Cricket Match, a Thong Throwing Competition, an outdoor stage with live entertainment, food and drink stalls plus food trucks, carnival rides, free face painting & Emergency Services Display.

And who doesn’t love a fireworks display? The ever-popular fireworks finale will be the perfect close to a perfect day at 9pm.

Each year this popular event attracts over 8000 people.

Seating is limited so bring your picnic rugs and folding chairs, stake out your spot and enjoy the festivities. No BYO shade structures. Dogs on lead are welcome.
