When is the event?
Saturday 15 October, 4pm to 8pm
Where will it be held?
Savour the Flavour Hawkesbury will be held in Richmond Park (Corner of Windsor Street and East Market Street). The beautiful heritage park is in the heart of the town of Richmond and is directly opposite Richmond Train Station.
Is the event free?
The event is free to enter! When you get inside the event you'll find stallholders from the Hawkesbury with samples to try as well as products to purchase.

Accessible Parking - Peppercorn Services Shuttle Bus
In conjunction with Hawkesbury City Council, Peppercorn Services will be providing accessible transport to and from the event.
Peppercorn will operate a continuous shuttle between 3.30pm-8pm from Hawkesbury Showground to Richmond Park for those requiring transport to the event.
Pick up/drop off points will be from the entrance to the showground (Near the Clarendon station) to Richmond Park.
No bookings are required, bus will leave at half hour intervals.
Getting to Richmond
By Car
An hour and half drive, 57 kms north west of Sydney, via the M2 Motorway, Old Windsor Road and Windsor Road. Then follow the signs to Richmond which take you to the town via the Hawkesbury Valley Way.
Thirty minutes drive, 22kms north of Penrith via the Castlereagh or Londonderry Roads.
By Train
Catch Sydney Trains Western Line to Richmond - about 1.5 hrs from Central Station. Sydney Trains or phone: 131 500

Parking will be available at the Hawkesbury Showground for you to catch the train from clarendon train station. The trains run every 30 minutes.
Make sure you have your opal card for your trip.

Can I bring my dog?
Dog are not permitted to enter the event, companion or assistance dogs are permitted at the event.
How do I purchase the event souvenir glass?
Buy a Savour the Flavour souvenir glass before the event from the Visitor Information Centre to be in running to win a Crowne Plaza voucher.
Competition Terms and Conditions
- The promoter is Hawkesbury City Council, 366 George Street, Windsor.
- Each person may only enter the competition once. Multiple purchases from the same person will be counted as one (1) entry.
- Entrants must be at least 18 years old to win.
- The winners will be selected by random draw from all valid entrants at Savour the Flavour, Hawkesbury on Saturday 15 October at Richmond Park.
- The winners will be contacted via contact details provided at purchase.
- The winner will be announced on the Hawkesbury City Council Website, and Hawkesbury City Council Facebook Page.
- The prize is Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valley $395 gift voucher.
- Souvenir glasses are available to buy prior to the event for $5 or at the event for $10.
- Hawkesbury City Council Council employees and their immediate families are not permitted to enter the competition.
