RAAF Base Richmond FAQs
What date & time is the airshow?
The Royal Australian Air Force will conduct an airshow at RAAF Base Richmond over the weekend of 27 and 28 September 2025. 9am-4pm daily.
Location: RAAF Base Richmond, New South Wales
What is being celebrated? The event will commemorate 100 years of RAAF Base Richmond; our second oldest Air Force base and the oldest in NSW
Daily ticket cost: $40 - Adults, $35 - Concession, $10 - 5-18yrs, Free for 0-4yrs
Tickets: This event is not yet open for booking.

Travel and parking: Ticketholders are urged to leave the car at home and catch public transport as heavy traffic is expected and nearby parking is very limited. Plan your trip via transportnsw.info/RAAF-Airshow and transportnsw.info
Limited parking will be available at the Hawkesbury Showgrounds via a pre-purchased ticket, $10 per vehicle.
Limited Accessibility parking close to the airshow will also be available for permit holders via a separate pre-purchased ticket, $10 per vehicle.
Please note, public parking will not be available at RAAF Richmond
What to expect:
Attendees can experience the Air Force flying shows and ground exhibits. The flying and exhibits program will be similar on each day.
Airborne highlights will include the F-35A Lightning II, F/A-18F Super Hornet, Hawk 127, Roulettes Aerobatic Team, C-17A Globemaster, C-130J Hercules, C-27J Spartan, KC-30A Multi-Role Tanker Transport, E-7A Wedgetail, P-8 Poseidon, and 100SQN Heritage aircraft. Plus ground displays such as of exhibits of Air Force Security Forces, Military Working Dogs, Aeromedical Evacuation, Explosive Detection, Firefighters, Drones, Simulators and Virtual Reality, Air Force Cadets, Bands and much more!
